I started my first business made from the ocean” on Etsy on August 2011 making handmade sea kelps. I did craft fairs and holiday bazaar all year round. I made the highest ones doing craft fairs, holiday bazaars , and big event shows which I can't share those online to show I've made a lot of sales. I was at the holiday bazaar when I first started out on Etsy and I had made 24 baskets in only a month and half which all but two were sold. My sales on Etsy are very little but as for as doing the fairs I would sell almost everything. Unfortunately, making sea kelp baskets you depend on the materials. For the past to years I haven't been able to find much. Therefore, I decided to start using my knowledge and experience taking photographs of landscapes, historical places, flowers, and nature. It was funny that this whole time I was sharing my posts on places in Oregon and taking pictures this whole time.

What is photography?
I thought I might start off with what is photography and the history and reasons to use before I start publishing any future posts on my own learning experience through classes, self taught, reading, and sharing with learning from other photographers. Many definitions of photography are possible, although none will be universally agreed upon. This is how I read about. Photography defined as "a system designed to produce photographs." (Tom Arg) Photography means " a visual recording of an event through the agency of light using a light-sensitive material."Read More

According to some members of the historical society that I met when I was there, they provided me with facts and the history of some more important parts of the Jacksonville Cemetery, whereas it's a National Historic Landmark town in Oregon. I thought this would be a great Halloween story!Read More

Brookings is home to several beautiful beaches. Located 6 miles from the northern California border on highway 101 in Oregon is just the beginning of the Oregon Coast Trail. This area is abundant in its natural attractions with miles of coastline, wild scenic rivers, state and city parks, and an attractive port. The cities of Brookings and Harbor are nestled on either side of the Chetco River where it meets the sea. GREAT for FISHING`Brookings is an incorporated city, while Harbor is not.
